Go hawks...

Life has been pretty good down here. The apartment is small and hot, and inexplicably gets hotter as the sun goes down, but I've immensely enjoyed my free time anyway. Looking forward to getting some proof of residency via Netflix in a couple of days and then getting my Urbana library card.

Our wedding plans have not gone further since confirming our photographer last Sunday. My friend/Joe's distant relation Lindsey Sears will be shooting the wedding (she also shot our beautiful engagement pictures last fall).

I've applied for retail jobs at Old Navy, Banana Republic, Bergner's, and Macy's. We'll see.

Tonight we watched the Blackhawks win the Stanley Cup and ate cheesy noodles and broccoli for dinner. It was a good day.
